Html is relatively easy as with JavaScript which I recommend you have a go at doing also. I agree with most people here who suggested w3schools. Codyacademy is a good one too.

IF you really want to get into web development take a look at the options. There are TONS...

Some of the newer, cooler, technologies like Angular are pretty freaking awesome when it comes to web development and app development in general.

If you were to dive into learning Angular, you would also be learning NodeJS, TypeScript, Javascript, HTML, and CSS at the same time. Going even deeper into development you'll certainly want to use a database of some sorts. There are great opportunities for learning here as well. Take your pick - MongoDB, MySQL, SQLite... etc. All great and will expand your marketable knowledge by leaps and bounds.

Also - once you start down this path, you'll want to look at things like Google Firebase and Amazon Lambda. These platforms are freaking amazing and cost nearly nothing to use.

Good Luck!

I agree with codeacademy and w3schools to get started quickly and for a good foundation. I liked having coding apps on my phone so I could practice when I'm out and about.

If you are willing to spend a lil bit of money (truly not a lot) then I would highly suggest that you take a look at some web courses on Udemy, I learned almost everything I know about web development on Udemy.
