Nulled is going to blow up. You'll see. I have a feeling.

I signed up for an account when I was like, 12 or something. I can't remember. I joined forums solely to get leaks because I was a greedy shithead who wanted to learn how to make $1000 in a day with no investment.
By the time I made posts, however, I got sick of it and I eventually stuck around and made some friends who were older than me by like, 5~6 years. It seems creepy but considering that handfuls of girls did that when I was in middle school I don't feel ashamed about it.
I was able to talk to these people in ways that I couldn't in real life. I was honestly a really awkward Asian kid who could never really make friends and shit. These people were something of a second family, and I had tons of fun shitposting. I had Prime and Supreme not a year later after I signed up. At one point I was on the "most rep" list for the site. I never got #1, or #2, but I was on the chart for a long time. It was a really fun time. I actually enjoyed being behind a screen posting stupid shit in the Lounge and Random sections. I sincerely loved being on NulledBB.
Things have changed, however. I don't know what it was, but I simply got tired of posting on the forums. I would say it were the posting contests. Postwhores (no offense to them) would literally fill sections with posts and replies faster than I could post one. For every post I made, someone could write up 5 fucking replies to 5 different threads. At that point, the forums didn't feel special to me anymore. It turned into some competition trying to see how much people can post, and my liking to forums in general started to wane.
It started to get pretty bad once users who I was close with started leaving/getting banned. At that point, I had no one. And not many HQ users would join, so there wasn't new people to create conversation with. It started to go stale. No one would initiate conversation anymore. No one would reply, or pot, or any of that. The "recently posted" section, once filled with HQ upgraded members, is now filled with regular users that reply "thanks....,,,, thatnks for leakds bro" to every leak there is on this site. I guess I could say it was partially my fault since I never come on this site anymore, but it was hard for me to post something if there wasn't something notable to reply to. At that point, without "formal notice", I left. And now I never post or even bother to log in.
This is not to say I hate Nulled. I still very much like it. But regardless of how much I like it, it doesn't mean that I don't think it's changed, and I can't really tell whether it's for the better or not.
tl;dr yes I do like NulledBB
I completely understand this lol. Part of me wanted to go into this much detail but I was too lazy.

I thought it was too. I still hope it does. When I took a break from NBB and came back recently I expected there to be much more activity tbh. I might try being more active to encourage other people to do the same.

In Nulled News I said the only way to kickstart activity is if every HQ Member who logs in then dips at least posted, we could get the ball rolling.

That's what we have to do. It's the only way. That's why I've been super active the past couple months + I have a group.

#29 Another point I'd like to make is that I feel there have been 3 waves in activity since nbb began. There were the mega oldfags from the old site (which I wasn't there for), then people like me, maiki, eclipse, aisaka, bubble, etc. joined bringing a lot of referrals, and content to the site. And then there was the point where lf shut down and people like v4hl started posting a lot. I'm not gonna say that any of these changes are bad, I'm just saying the atmosphere was different.
I remember joining nbb after leaving a toxic community and automatically resorted to acting like a skid, and not trusting anybody because of it. I invited some people who I assumed would be hq and would be nice (r00t, moot, etc.) But they all ended up leaving / getting banned / became toxic just like they were in that community. Joining here gave me a sense of relief that I really didn't find anywhere else. And I'm extremely thankful for the friends that I have made (and some that I have kept) during that time.
I am worried that new users now will never get that experience here. It's a different environment than it was those couple of years ago, and I feel like it's come to the point where you have to have some sort of ignorance / ego to make a name for yourself. Which sucks. It makes me want Member of the Month to be brought back because of how some people have acted / been rewarded for it.
Again, I don't hate nbb. I don't think I ever will. I still love what this site / community has done for me, and I bet for other people as well. And even now there are still people that I love talking to. It just hasn't been the same for a good while now. And I'm not expecting it to change.
I also farded so

LF members are used to high activity from hq members. I used to be in LF too. I guess it puts people off who came from big forums so they feel those dead vibes nbb puts off.

I'm glad you threw the fart in their pal.
But seriously though, what change do you wanna see in NBB and how do you think it could happen?
