Sony Vegas or After Effects?

Vegas is really easy to get into, and isn't that comparable to After Effects.

i feel like the question should be Afeter Effects + Premier VS Sony Vegas... Personally thought (mainly cause i own the CS6 Master Collection) i like Premiere and After Effects... I do own vegas but not a fan, i just like how all of the adobe software just link together with media encoder and bridge especially going from one workstation to another.

Vegas is a bit more simple to me but i like ae more

honestly I would say adobe after effects because many people use it when doing my CPA videos and the stuff I need done cannot be done on sony vegas

I have no money but I DO have Sony Vegas because it was on the Humblebundle not too ago... so I guess I prefer Sony Vegas.
If I had the money I would definitely say I prefer AE though ahah

After Effect is the better choice for me, it's hard, but when you know how to do some cool things, that the best way to mount videos

I like After Effects with the trapcode plugins. Sony Vegas, to me is just over complicated

You can't compare After Effects to Sony Vegas. You can however compare Premier to Vegas.

Premier/After Effects is the way to go 100%. But I like the easiness and "grab and go" feel of sony vegas

I believe Sony Vegas is easy to use especially for the beginner while After Effects is on the other hand.
