It was the last season of Sailor Moon for me, Sailor Stars, towards the end of the season when, shall we say, the "going gets rough" and Usagi is basically alone. Seeing Chibi-usa that way and Usagi's reaction broke me. That's all I say about that.

This might seem cliche, but Naruto has some pretty sad moments, where Naruto is just trying to belong / be himself, and I find myself tearing up.

Angel Beats, but like literally everyone says that, so I'll be original and say parts of Shiki DESTROYED me.

Neon Genesis Evangelion. I relate to many of the characters on this anime for some reason.

I wouldnt say that it broke my heart but a moment that had me tear up is whenever Ace died in one piece.

He gave that speech before dying and it's something that I related to a lot. It was almost as if it would be
the same speech that I would give as well..

(cues sad music)

Man anime's are really great and in some cases brings in more of my emotions than a Hollywood movie. For me Attack on(of?) the Titans did it, specially when the TItan ate the protagonist's mother. Even though Berserk also made me sorry for the character, but I consider Berserk to be legendary and it makes me happy remembering it rather than break my heart.
