The new minecraft is bad

1.9 feels completelyforeign I loved 1.6 and 1.7 all the way up to 1.8.9 after that the community became bedrock players and 7 year olds more so than it already was

I understand that the Oldies missed the new versions, I went through it myself, I changed 1.8 to 1.12.2

No, I think Mojang actually added good stuff and there is more incoming in the next update.
