Thoughts on my new rig

So I recently was looking for a new rig and was wondering if these specs were good:
CPU: i7-8700K
GPU: GTX 1070
RAM: 32 GB
HDD: 1 TB
SSD: 256GB
PSU: TX 950

Hope you got liquid cooling for your CPU. GTZ 1070 is good. DDR4 ram correct? Is your 1TB HDD a standard HDD or a SSHD? I have a 525GB SSD which I prefer because if you install your OS on your SSD the space will fill quickly.

They look decent, personally i would prefer 2tb hdd cause i find i never have enough storage space.

I don't have as much of a beefed processor but very very similar specs. Not sure how the 8700K holds as far as temps go but i hope it's working well!

ram is a bit overkill but i guess thats up to you do what ya want

32 GB is too much. The most you really need is 16. The minimum you need is 8GB other than that everything else is great.

A nice rig indeed, when it comes to building a PC it should be based off of your own preference. If you want 30GB of RAM then go for it dude. You have a good ass rig.

RAM is pretty overkill, I'd swap the drive with a m.2

The only problem with your rig is the amount of ram. You have too much ram. You only need 8 GB. 16 is the maximum you should have.
