Do you think valve should make half life 3? Or has the hype just ruined it

Itll never be made and honestly I thought this was a meme. The half life series really isnt even that good lmao

There is no need to them

as they are making billions per year just from selling other people's games

it's just not a good idea for them I mean what will they gain from it

they would get billions again but would that change anything?

No, the Marc Laidlaw (Lead HL writer) has left the Valve, however, he released the Episode 3 story or how it was supposed to look for the release of possible HL3 or HL2 EP3

Nothing special really. To be really honest, they just have enouth money from doing skins and events for dota 2\cs go. They are just milking on their own games, doing nothing, not to mention that steam takes like 30% of sales from every game which is published in it, if I'm not mistaken.

I also think it will never be made, but for the time it was released HL series was a milestone and it is still one of the most memorable games out there.

Sadly , I don't think so.
Epistle 3 may have also meant nothing knowing Marc Laidlaw and his fanfics, aswell as Valve could've used a diffrent story, or made a shift just like HL1 and HL2

Valve has enough money to keep themselves up, and hype may have been one of main things that ruined it all.

HL3, it's like saying Garry is going to make Garry's Mod 2. It's honestly a meme.

Valve will never make HL3 as they lost their main story writer for it. Valve has made millions off of steam there is no need for them to make another source game.
