What programming language to start with?

I'd recommend staying with Python to learn programming. Start with simple functions, then move to more complicated data structure based systems. After that you can start to learn abstraction and more object oriented programming systems. Once you learn the basics probably move to java, since you wont have to worry about things like garbage collection.

Just like alot of people have said, Go for Python to begin with, its easy to learn and can make some fun applications. Good luck!

i shall use C++ it might not be the easiest but it does is the language shere most others(exept python,assembler,etc) are based on
stay away from python until u learned C++ cause its complicated to relearn the way you program for C++ but not to learn python if u know C++

I think javascript, since that's the first one I learned, and I heard that many websites uses javascript so I'm hyped to learn about javascript.

Java and C (C#/++) Phyton would also be an OK choice. That was the row I had during college.

i started with java, but python is a good language to start with now.

I'm currently programming in all of the major ones for both Web and Applications, but I'm currently learning C++.
If you're going to start programming, a simple thing like Java and Python are great.

Really depends what you wanna focus on making. I started with PHP for websites.
