I've been using microsfot visual studio but woulod aslo recommended notepad++ for a started text editor as it cover the basics and visual studio can be a bit comp,icated

I use VSCode for daily basic and I use Jetbrains products when I need to test my projects

Atom by far. Its incredibly nice for lua scripting and scripting in general.

Coda 2 on my main machine, and VIM in the terminal with vundle and other vim plugins such as you complete me. I spend so much time in the terminal I actually like editing in vim.

i use sublime because they have a ton of languages and the syntax highlighting is actually good

I prefer textedit + clean basic and simple .... also what I learned on

Sublime text is by far the superior text editor

I use notepad++ for most things but I like the gLUA plugin you can get with sublime

notepad++ since I got used to hotkeys and all functionality it can do so easy, its just the best now.

Hey, I often use notepad ++ to edit game save or also edit files. Notepad ++ is often updated.
