Whats the point of using bitcoins?

It's not controlled by a government/banks. It's anonymous.

Do some research on CryptoCurrency, main benefits are that once a exchange has happened it cannot be reversed, no personal information is needed to use them & you can mine BTC so essentially exchange computer power to get the coins.

anonymous payment is not so true anymore with bitcoin but bitcoin is still cool i think something like monero is used for anonymity these days
