Whats your opinion on Net Neutrality?

I personally don't think ISP's are gonna suddenly start locking down the internet, but there's no harm in having it and it prevents them from doing that. Whats your opinions?

Same. I doubt that it will actually pass through. There's too much bad publicity on it.

They can not do what they want when they want it, but at their discretion to close it, I think there is not much in the way of the provider too

I think it's hilarious how the online community is in such furore over net neutrality, and ignore all the atrocities currently happening in the world lmao. That said, I do think net neutrality is a serious issue and should be preserved

FCC against Net Neutrality is easier to fight - we only need to rant about it on social networks, then we just call and e-mail the Congress. Because that's all we can do, and that's all we have to do.

It's just easier.

I'm all for net neutrality though.

I'm not from US so this doesn't affect me, atleast not yet but I am getting worried about the future of the net, not so much that we the induvidial might have to pay more money to access stuff like youtube, but the fast that YOUTUBE themselves might have to pay money to the ISP's in order to NOT be blacklisted.

I think it's a slippery slope. The moment we start allowing ISP's to charge us more for the specific content served then we start losing the decentralised free and open internet we grew up with. Once they have this foot-hold it could mean that they start taking away other aspects of our online freedom.

They probably will be locking it down ands tart charging more but I suppose this is only for the US?

I dislike that our freedom is being taken by companies who are attempting to exploit us for even more money than they are already getting. I just want to keep our freedom, I think it's all a scam.
