Which Minecraft version was the best?

Imo, all latest versions are the best because of amount of features each update brings, so theres that

The best version is 1.8 beacuse of PvP, but if you are builder use latest version to make awesome builds

This really depends on when you started playing because nostalgia is a big factor. I doubt the kids who started playing recently would go back to 1.7.10 or earlier. But older people who started playing maybe 5 years ago probably prefer an earlier version like 1.8 or 1.7.10. I personally think 1.12.2 is the best right now. It has less content than 1.14+ but it is playablewith moreservers, plugins, and mods. And it's still a pretty new version. Not very new but it's not old.
Maybe 1-2 years from now, I think I'll prefer 1.14 because it will probably have as much compatibility with servers, plugins, and mods. It just takes time.
