Which type of a server is better?

skyblock is a good gamemode too because players love this

You should go with Survival or Factions server.

Go entirely lawless bro. Just get NoCheat and NOTHING else. No admins, no moderators, just complete anarchy. It's SO cool, such an authentic experience.

Skyblock is a nice test of your skills but it's far from the hardest thing you can do.

As in gamemode, populair one is skyblock, but prison does great too.

I'm basically in the same place you are. I just started a server as of December 30th, and quite honestly, it's difficult.
I personally went with GriefPrevent friendly survival. However, I have also left myself tons of room for expansion.
- With the right host, you can do every single gamemode. I'm even going to expand into skyblock, and so much more.

Do what you think is right in the beginning, give them something to do. Then, from there, continue to expand outwards. Also, one thing that is *critical* is taking feedback from players. They're the community. They don't need to be a part of your server

Survival is the best server's mode! I very like it!

If you will sell vip, skyblock is better but if you aim to make money fast, you can choose skyblock. they both are nice and similar..

Starting a server these days is verry hard....

All those verry big servers have allot of players and dont lose allot of players since they have everything

i tried to start a server like 2 years ago and that worked for me since it was a pretty popular thing then in my country (minetopia)

when i saw that i started to die i sould my server and domains to a big server for 150 they just let my server die and used my srv to connect to their server so they had my players....

Big servers take all the players so starting as a small server is pretty hard these days!

But if you really want it you will get there one day :D
