Its not black or white. There are some pros and cons i.e. missing drivers(for wifi AC - my currently problem).
It's free and open-sourced - this is the most important advantage.

It is open source and free. Also, it is based on UNIX and is suitable for many use cases in development

I have Ubuntu based web server. It's extremely reliable and much safer than Windows ( If you know what you are doing).

Because its fully custonumixation, easy, you learn more.

Windows is made for Operating System, Linux is for servers, that's why most people don't run Linux on personal computers, it's not as good as Windows.

Never use Windows for server, only reason if there's some software that require it (I doubt there is) otherwise you are just being lazy not learning Linux, there are tutorials to setup everything, no excuse
