Why do humans judge others by looks?

It is just nature.

some sort of biological process which is ingrained into our beings that makes us react & judge others by how they look.

The sense of sight is generally our first impression of someone. When you first meet someone over the phone you will judge them by their voice / accent / manner of speech.

Isn't it something to do with natural selection etc etc?

I don't know why judge people so much, I guess we're just bad people :D

Because it's the easiest way to judge someone, and humans love to judge others

Because it's the naturally the first thing you see. Plus it's our instinct to like others who are more "normal" that othesr, because humans like breeding.

It's natural, it's kind of like Natural Selection in a certain sense. We want to associate with people who are like us because it makes us feel safe. Or we want to associate ourselves with people who are better than us to improve. It depends on your character.

Mainly because of the society and media. People are so prone to think a certain way to look is the only way one can look. People are getting more self entitled and judgmental as the years go by. Social media is a huge factor for it too.

some people judge others by their physical appearance because that person "isnt like them" its very common to see a rather ugly person not hanging out with any of the more pretty people.

yeah i dont care about what people look like, i care about their personality and how they treat others, and how they act towards other people rather than just me.
