Why is gaming so popular?

Becasue we us humans need fun and dis dang give us that FUN

Counter strike source & counter strike go are the best games

Gaming is extremely fun for majority of people it is popular because it gives you something to do besides living a boring life. I game 24/7 on Garry's mod because its an escape from this reality. This reality is limited, boring, short and just overall terrible. In games there the roof is raised. In real life can you go on heists like in GTA 5? No you would die instantly but in games you can re doit and not have to worry about consequences. Like I said this reality is too limited and too boring.

Well gaming is popular because its fun, and we can connect with others from around the world. Humans need interaction with other humans and gaming is just one thing that brings together groups of people

Video games are so awesome in not only fun ways but in scientific ways as well. just think of all the physics go into VR and all the work that goes into graphics, Its amazing if you really look at it

Speaking from my pov, it's a way to escape reality. And this is the same for many people, I spend the majority of my free time gaming because it's cheap and nearly risk free.
Some do it to have fun, and as do I, but I'm more into escaping the real world to focus on something that someone else has created.

It's an escape from reality a way to forget life and/or do things you cant do in real life.

well its popular because it takes you somewhere where you have not been like VR but yea

I think its Popular becouse it makes fun and you waste your time.
