Will Garry's Mod Die?!?

Nah, it will not die unless it gets replaced by a Sandbox that does its stuff better, but since Garry's Mod is unique and doesn't require high end PCs, no. It will never die.

As sad as it is, most games do lose a lot of the gaming population, but that just comes with time. In truth, most games never completely lose gamers for a long time, when they've been dead for years.

GMod will die some day, but it's going to take a while for it to die. The game has been a live for 9 years, almost 10 years. If Garry's Mod does die, something had hit it hard, like and unwanted update or a mass of hackers of increases in the community etc. Garry's Mod started my PC gaming life. Would be sad for it to die out. But it's normal can't complain. It does get boring for playing the same game for months, even years (me).

the gmod is not dead, nor will it be for a long time, because the community is quite active.

It really needs a bit more from accrual valve devs since it's run by the community right now.
