Windows 7 vs. Windows 10 - What do you prefer?

Windows 10

+Updated design
-No privacy without tweaks which can brick your PC
-Bloatware and Microsoft shit
+DirectX 12
+Constantly receives updates
-Can be confusing at sometimes
-Windows Update constantly asks you to update; no option to disable without tweaks
-You need Pro to postpone updates for up to a year

Windows 7
=========
+Easy to use
+No modern apps
-Support ending in 2020
-Only gets security updates
-Might not be compatible with newer hardware
+More control over updates

My list of pros and cons of each, if I was going to choose an OS myself, it'd be 8.1, a mix of both of these.

I've used both windows 7 and 10. To be honest I prefer windows 10.

Windows 10 LTSB - no Microsoft's shit like Windows Store, no Edge, only installs critical security updates. I don't need anything else.

Personally, I like W7 better since I've been using it for so long and it was fairly simple to use. W10 isn't horrible but it's not that good I've had a lot of trouble with this OS.

I uninstalled Windows 10 to go back to Windows 7 again. I just like it a lot more and it feels more smooth and responsive.

I really like the look of 10, but 7 always wins in my mind for some reason

Windows 10, simply because material ui on win 10 looks really cool. imho.

windows 10 looks a lot better and functionality wise windows 7 has he upper edge because its more easy to access notepad etc.

I use to say windows 7 is the best OS, but with time everyone needs to either upgrade or risk security.
Main updates for windows 7 stopped back in 2015 but "extended" support goes until 2020.

I jumped from 7 to 10. I never had a computer with 8 or 8.1. I liked what they were doing with it, but hated the style - however, Windows 10 fixed all of my issues, and I absolutely love what they did with it. It is perfect in my eyes.
