Would you upgrade fro 1080ti to 2080ti?

RTX for my country is too much expensive when a reseller on USA have $700 for an 2080TI 8GB , here the same is equivalent $977,18 lol

for now i use my GTX 1050 2GBfor much time!

I've weighed the pros and cons and I really think I'll be sticking with my 1080ti for a while. The only thing worth the high price of the RTX is the raytracing and I really don't care about that stuff.

Raytracing is pretty gimmicky at the moment but its starting to become more and more adopted such as in Minecraft which is looking pretty cool if you see the videos. If you have lots of money, then why not but for me, I wouldn't really recommend it unless you want to have the absolute latest tech. You could use that money saved towards a new computer later down the road or get something else.

Nah the 1080ti is already top notch and the upgrade isnt even that big of a difference and you can already run every game well and on high with good frames so youre fine for the time being

Unless you've got some deep ass pockets, I wouldn't bother upgrading from a 1080ti to a 2080ti unless you're maybe running a 4k setup or something of that sort. Honestly though, the 1080ti could handle that quite well regardless, and you'd be better off waiting unless the next series or two before upgrading if you were good with cash. Just my two cents.

2080ti is great if you have two of them. Had to buy a second one and use nvlink to properly make use of raytracing. But its not worth it if you dont already have an amazing monitor

Not worth it in my opinion. The 1080TI is still performing really well. Wait at least for a new generation or two before upgrading.

just buy an 5700XT way better and cheaper,

I would only upgrade if I were to play on a 4K Monitor, which is something that most people don't have.

No, I would do it for free only. Otherwise it's just a waste of money.
