codeigniter is very easy to understand. there are lots of tutorial about it. i can recommend it to you.

Codeigniter, Is MVC and easy to learn, has a very simple syntax.

What i heard the benchmark is great

Use Laravel. Quite a steep learning curve but I think it's definitely worth using learning.

Start with OOP, then go with Laravel, and when you feel that you know that framework well, go with ZF.

Each framework is different, everyone has preferences, then I personally prefer Codeigniter.

I've used Laravel before, it's pretty good; however, there is a bit of a learning curve to it.
