honestly how would i be successful at a youtube channel?

Personality at least for me even if im watching a review i need personality because it makes up for quality of the images and the voice and is the reason why youtube os now used more then tv because people are being them selves and it connects with their viewers so the viewer feels as if he os with friend

Today they demonetise so much that it isn't worth it. Twitch is where the bucks are if you can play videogames well.

You should not be looking forward to being successful in a *dead* platform.

There are a lot of niches, and also a lot people doing it, you need just to find the unique qualities to call the people to check your content.

Just overall good charisma helps for a lot of things. Videos are more entertaining if the person you are watching has a quick wit or can tell an interesting story. But the hard truth is that being any sort of online streaming personality is basically the modern version of wanting to be an actor. it can happen, but you shouldn't bet your bottom dollar on it. Just make sure you are enjoying what you do.

Do not make clickbait otherwise people will no more watch you videos !

LArge amounts of luck, fitting some content niche, etc are all ways.

Share knowledge, and make it interesting. Make it unique. Don't give up until you've made like 20-30 videos. Making 1-2 videos won't make a difference. Also from every video you will learn and improve to the next one.
If you look at some youtuber's first videos those are pretty bad compared to the new ones.

You need big titles and have a target audience! "EZ WIN FORTNITE (GIVEAWAY??) BATTLEEYE/EAC BANNED ME? HOW AM I SO GOOD) and such titles are known to give good views
