Ok, if you playing a game like COD or Battlefield, you should train your reactions. This would help a lot. See an enemy? A bullet right away.
I don't play that much of games, so thats only tip I could give you.

Look up guides, try to actually practice and apply them. Brute force playing for a long time helps a bit, but if you get into bad habits they are hard to break.

Practice makes perfect as they always say. Maybe if you have a streamer or content creator you can observe their play style and pick up on ideas like map domination points or exploits to use to your advantage

Constant practice. Also depends on the genre. For example, when it comes to shooting games, I think osu is more than adequate for training your reaction and muscle memory. For fighting games, I just play around with the moves until I get them down and can make my own combos. And so on for other genres.

Practice-practice-practice and practice again if u spent a lot of time in 1 game u will be better

Work smarter not harder, first you have to understand the game then practice, try new thing while doing that practice.

Pratice with friend, people is also a good way to improve
