A few months if you are really engaged and enjoy doing it.

I don't think you will ever get satisfied with programming if you enjoy it. There is always more to learn. But beginning with it is awesome and you can get small results in few days. Just don't expect to code a whole application on your first year.

It depends, you can get the basics down within a week then the hard part is getting used to the enviornment, the quirks, how to get the programming mindset which then lets you convert to other programming languages easy. Just push out projects to learn.

Things will go way easier if you practice everything you learned step by step, you'll master your language in no time.

Like many others have said, it depends. For me, Java was quite easy because I've been coding many other language before it, such as JS, and a bit of Python. Though if your learning from little to no background experience, it may be quite difficult.

I wish you luck though!

Once you grasp basic fundamentals in one language it is usually really quick to learn the others
