I agree with OngPak above. Dog sitting is a really great way to hang out and spend time with dogs while also making $$ to save up for your own. It's also a nice way to figure out which breeds you like/are most compatible with. Like I watch my friend's golden retriever and he's a total sweetheart but definitely not the right dog for me lol

I guess what kind of dog do you want and keep in mind of how expensive it is to have a pet. You need to get them fixed, get their shots, feed them and take care of them. They become part of your family when you take in a pet, most people forget that and get bored of them once they get out of the puppy stage.

try to adopt one if possible !

here where i am from there are many in shelters... quite possibly it is the same scenario for you.

Definitely adopt, and inquire about the personal history of each dog to find one that fits your lifestyle

I personaly LOVE Husky but they beside fun part are very hard to own, cause they need much walking and good surroudings cause normaly they live in cold places.

Taking care of a dog is like making love. Just do it.

dogs demand great responsibility. but also gives a lot of happiness

Borrow a friend's dog for a while and see if you could do it for longer. Also don't jump in at the deep end with a breed like a Husky without doing your research
