is it worth to upgrade phone every year?

I swap phones every ~3 years, selling my old phone.

Yea, mobile speed has been ramping up recently but nowhere near as much as making me want to upgrade every year.

If you value an object now rarely used for it's design and purpose that tracks your every movement better with each new model, and paying for rare earth metals... why not.

Point cloud stuff scares me enough to never even want to go near 5g. And I love technology (And no -- Not the MSM created lie of cell-tower damage often called "False Flags"; but the very real real-time tracking potential stemming from 5g phone-to-phone point clouds)

No. Just use your old iphone until it cannot update anymore. I'm still using my iphone 7 until now

I think it makes no sense. For me, an upgrade every 2 years is enough. But that's just my personal opinion.
