For short terms, no Herobrine is not real. For noob terms, YES OMG HE USED TO BE A GLITCH IN THE GAME BUT HE GOT REMOVED! I honestly hate when people say that. It's so cringing.

I thought at one point he was intentionally added in for fan servicing. I may be wrong though. But to my knowledge, he isnt real.

Nope, he never existed, it's just a myth. Any things related to him are glitches or just players messing around and trolling. Herobrine is fake.

Herobrine was a myth thought up by Notch who then led users to believe his existence, then used - Removed Herobrine in some of the update logs it's all just a huge hoax to widen the minecraft lore and to give it a neat 'Mysterious Entity' feel to the game, to add a creep factor to the not so scary Minecraft.

yes he is real he was coded into the game as a easter egg but they took him out after a while

But you can implemant him in minecraft with mods.
