Depend on what you are doing., For example I run games like GTA V where it eats up my ram. I also run a lot of Virtual Machines. RAM prices has dropped so much that upgraded was worth for me. I remember 16GB being $200 at one point.

Kinda worthless if you're using it for general use it might help if you're using something that needs higher ram usage
