what happens after death?

i lost the other guys thread but it brought up a genuine point. what do you guys think happens after death?


personally i think that, well, being dead is equal to not being conscious, and being conscious also gives you the sense of time, so not being conscious = no sense of time

so when people say that it would be "eternal darkness/nothingness" it wouldnt feel eternal, due to not having a sense of time, it would be like dreamless sleeping, but instant, yknow?

nobody knows after death buddy i can't even guess what will happen

You complete the cause of death documentation and the body can be released for cremation or burial. Once the death has been certified, we'll go to the family's home or hospital to remove the body and bring it back to the funeral parlour

Probably reincarnation. Of some sort. I'm not saying any religion has it right. I doubt we go into places like heaven or hell. At least in the commonly understood Christian sense of the words.

I feel that this thread should not exist. Everyone is entitled to there own opinions and there shouldn't be a debate or anything about it.. Religion is a touchy subject just like politics and it will cause problems and headaches for many people here.. My suggestion is let this thread die. I'm going to double check the rules to make sure this thread is even ok on here.

Do you remember what were you doing before your birth? Same shit.

I couldn't tell you that. Its up to your beliefs. Beyond that you can't really find scientifically. Not yet at least.
