what is the best anime to start

you should definitely watch naruto first. it's the best one.

Just see weather which type you would like to watch. Love, action, etc.... Just like TV series.

I think you should start with one punch man, its short, action packed, and doesn't need much of an explanation.

I would say that a 12 episode anime like angel beats/charlotte would be a nice first anime experience because of their small episode capacity and interesting stories, i think its a nice balance for a first time viewer.

Recommend a short one like one punch man, mob psycho 100, dorohedoro, death note, vinland saga.... all the other suggestions are good but ehhhh kinda long if you want to get into it, HxH (2011) is goated tho

karas the movies is a good way to get into anime at least for me it was or fma

Full metal alchemist brotherhood is usually the goto starter recommended by people

Most people don't suggest as first but i highly recommend Charlotte.
