There is a new version of 2019 that works for 3d models with animations

You need to clear Google Chrome cache first and then use this program

https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/chrome_cache_view.html

Next, save the content of the complete cache and in Blender choose the .htm
I read something like that elsewhere, but I can't find that xentax.com.htm file. If you can find it, let me know.

The method still working, you only need to use IDM to download the files as is said before, and then use it to extract their contents telling open with Winrar. You can see it is working when you finally extract the files correctly.
Hi could you explain how you did it? i downloaded the 3 files using the browser prompt and an third party downloader but im still getting that error. what do you mean with "extract"? are those compressed files or the raw model? thanks in advance.

After hours of trials, it works! Unfortunately some of the models don't work, I have that kind of error:

Code:

DrawElementsUByte Uint8Array
Vertex Int32Array
TexCoord0 Int32Array
"TRIANGLE_STRIP" 214
"TRIANGLES" 6

What should I do and how to work around this please?

I can't remember which site it is, but rather than giving you a preview of a 3D model, they just give you a walkaround composed of a series of images of the original 3D model, "for compatibility reasons".
I suppose that's one way of protecting the model rather than sending the client a file that contains all the instructions to build the 3D model in webgl.

Great info here. I'm glad I came around after page 11.. a lot of issues I had were resolved in earlier responses.

Has anyone got this working on Linux? I'm trying using the latest version of blender and opening the .blend file manually, but it has significant issues running. I think one of the driving issues is that my OS comes with Python 2.7x and 3 already installed, and blender is running everything through Python 3, so basic functions like print '' don't work because Python 3 uses (parenthesis) for the print function.

Anyway, I'm going to keep working it and seeing whether I can disable Python 3, modify the scripts to work, or other.
