for image i use photoshop cc... for video editing filmora work best for me.. but if the video need some animation i choose after effect and sometimes blender for 3d animation...

Paint.NET if you want to use something free that is similar to Photoshop. There is also online photoshop called photopea which is free and virtually has all the same features as normal ps just online.

I edit photography photo and use FOTOR as a basic editor. Not terrible and a lot easier to mess around with than photoshop

adobe cc honestly, includes pretty much everything you would need in terms of content creation.
