One of my favorite ways to destress is to go outside and get some fresh air. Whether that be going for a walk or simply sitting in my backyard and basking in the sun, getting fresh air and being outdoors as always been a surefire way for me to calm down a little bit. Get in touch with the nature around you a little bit, spend some time watching all the critters near your house.

I used to take walks, listen to music, read books to relieve stress

these slowly will not let me reduce the pressure

Maybe I'm too anxious, or maybe I'm sick

Deep breathing (look up different pranayama stuff), sitting in the dark just with music, sing loudly, bathe in the sun

When Im super stressed, going out on a walk (when possible) really helps with my stress relief. If I cant go out or I dont feel good enough to, Ill play a game with a lot of tasks to keep myself busy and do something fun to keep my mind off of things

I agree with noodlecat!
Outside, get some sunshine!
Options for outside, inside or in bed is be mindful . Focus on your breathing or the sounds you hear or the feel of something near you. Run your finger over a wall or anything and just focus on what it feels like.
Doing dishes, feel the warm water, soap, plates.
It's all to focus your mind on what your doing at that moment, so your not thinking of the past or future.

mindlessly and aimlessly painting, like a child, allowing yourself to just explore, look stupid, and not be worried about the outcome.
the paintings may just go in the closet, but it removes the grip of stress on the brain

Best way is to meditate, focus on breathing, and also going outside. Nature is well researched to provide calming and stress reducing effects

Like everyone said going outside and getting some fresh air is a great way to relieve stress. I also like to walk my dog or just be around my dog in general and I also thing that talking to friends or family does take some weight off my chest.
