Best CPU for gaming?

I will switch to R7 1800x i think AMD has learn how cpu must work for gaming

I mean it really depends what you're planning on doing with your PC. I would say the i7-8700k is probably the best out of the CPU list you provided. Only by a little bit compared to the R7 1800x I would go with the Intel chip.

I mean if youre just looking at gaming the CPU has really fallen off the charts of much CPU usage since the 6700k has came out. Although there are a few games out there that are demanding its a pretty cheap buy and if you wanted to upgrade later on you still could.

Well you can cop yourself a i7-7700k. You don't really need much from a cpu to game mostly gpu so, you can either get something like a i5-6600k or go with the one you mentioned which is i7-7700k

i7-7700k is a solid choice. I really like that AMD is bringing some competition to the market, but I would not trust them enough to warrant a purchase.

Right now I would go with AMD and I'm saying it as an Intel fanboy. I'm currently on i7-3770K but if I were to upgrade I would go with AMD.

Maybe I7 8700K ? I love Intel and im never not buy AMD

Besides, maybe GPU is more important?
