Ryzen 7 1800x. It depends on how much power you need. I have a Ryzen 5 1600 and GTX 1070 and can max out any game at 1080p. So, the resolution you plan to play at depends, as well.

The best CPU for gaming is the i7-8700k because of its single thread performance. games benefit more from single thread performance than multi-threaded performance, which is what AMD's Ryzen is good at. that could change when Ryzen 2 comes out next month though, so if you can wait a month to see if Ryzen 2 is better than what Intel has out atm then do that.

For gaming you need first a very good GPU, if you have a good GPU you just need a simple CPU, in gaming GPU made the work like 60-70a%.
So, i recomand to you if you have a gtx 1050+ to use an i5 from 2k15 (minim).

i have an i-9 extreme, great for rendering and gaming. it is kind of expensive though

the i5 8600k is really good and reletivly cheap as well

CPU depends on your needs and graphics card for video design and processing need a powerful processor for weaker tasks weaker.

Get a R7 1800x, AMD CPU's have been pretty amazing you should definitely get them they're good for gaming.

nvidia gtx1050ti the best. It was the most fruitful thing I've ever seen.
