I mean it really depends what you're planning on doing with your PC. I would say the i7-8700k is probably the best out of the CPU list you provided. Only by a little bit compared to the R7 1800x I would go with the Intel chip.

Anything will work really,
as long as it has at least 2 cores (or more). The only thing that really matters is the GPU that you have, without that, games will look and play terribly.

The most expensive and updated and also intel. For gpu i'd suggest nividia too

I have an R7 1700x and it's a great all-around CPU, assuming you want to do more than just game.

I use the I7 2600 and is suitable for games .. Completely)

I strongly recommend using the R7 1800x, I hope you use it.

i would definitely go with i7-8700k , i'm in love with intel

The Ryzen 5 1600x is a chad CPU, it's so fast and I've had no lag.

i7 is too powerfull just for gaming, it's mostly for streamers, for rendering, specialized programs, etc
