Best Version of Minecraft Server?

1.12.2 or 1.7.10 are stable for a minecraft server. These versions of minecraft are stable. If you're using an older computer use 1.7.10 if you have a newer computer use 1.12.2.

I say 1.8 and 1.7 was super fun because of the pvp but for like cool stuff I would say lastest mc

I personaly use 1.12.2, with viaversion, so the server uns smoothly but supports older versions. Has worked great.

1.7 better for pvp servers, like minemen , 1.8 with 1.12+ support better for minigames, 1,12 better for survival servers like anarchy, hardcore, survival with mods

I use version 1.8.9 for my server, I play on the same version myself.

For me its btween 1.7.10 and 1.8 they are simply the best versions

1.7 and 1.8 are the most stable in my opinion but most likely because I've been using it since they came out. Haven't really liked the new 1.9 and up features. too messy tbh

I like the latest versions the most, because they add a lot of variety. (1.13-1.15.2)

1.8 was by far the best version for servers, it was perfect at that time
