Who do you call, if you de-fund the police and they're too busy?

When its explained, it just feels like common sense.
Calling the same group on murderers, suicides, and simple drug possession really makes no sense when you think about it.

Also we need to weed out the cops that think pointing a gun will solve every single problem, and the ones that are "scared for their life" when a chihuahua yaps at them. : l

As someone called "nopolice", I believe that defund the police is a terrible idea. It exposes you to private military groups, which can be ever more brutal.

I agree that it's a problem. But police aren't "leaving" anytime soon. Police are there to stay, so either there is a solution. Orr nothing happens which is more likely. Genius

So Defunding Police subject has been huge in USA. A lot of people support and at the same time a lot do not.

What does it mean to defund the police?
It is stated as "Defunding the police doesn't necessarily mean that all funding would be taken away from the department, but some funds would be divested from the department and invested in other programs.". (source)

Is this something you see it going at or do you think they will get rid of the police? If they get rid of the police then who takes over?
defunding is divesting
but sometime people use it as synonym for abolishing

problem is when police are divested without more actionabl transition policies in plave

law enforcement mean uphold the law. if you dont want laws and order - sure, you can defund police.
i was born in late USSR. in 90s when it collapsed, i lived in world when police was not working at all. racket, murders, organized crimes. you know what i mean.
as example you can watch old Robocop or Purge movies

if i were to be asked, the cops are necessary (only their roles). even if i hate them, it is still must be said. but what they need to do is to tighten their quality assessment tests, have a regular monthly psychological test, master escalation skills. most of these cops are entitled ruthless bastards that need beating
