Ive been waiting to respond to a question like this. The game isnt dead it is completely alive and thriving but your mind is telling that it is because maybe you dont play it too often or you arent surrounded by people that do

I've still seen a lot of modded content coming out on youtube. Vanilla gameplay has kinda died out, but I think the new update might help revive it some?

Minecraft is very much alive and kicking, with so many creators either making series on it or modders making new modpacks!

I dont think so, I mean at least In my country is pretty damm well played even among 17+ people, mostly for nostalgy
