Do you think self driving cars will be safer on the roads?

It's pretty safe honestly. My wife's car drives itself and I trust it 100%. It hasn't done anything sketchy so far and we've had it for a while. The furthest we've let it drive itself so far was 100 miles at one time.

No,i doesn't feel the same when ur driving and when is someone else like robot idk what if functions goes off if car get's suddenly crazy idk i dont trust it really

At first I thought not because AI in games is so bad. Lately after seeing videos on Tesla cars i'm starting to think they may drive themselves better than humans can drive them eventually.

I think it would be safer if all cars on the roads were self-driving, but if it's a mix it seems to me like it'd be just as if not more dangerous.

I think it will be safer without a driver, fewer accidents and drunk drivers

Eventually, yes. But for right now, no. Once the technology has had time to mature, I can definitely see it being the norm in the future.

I agree with this. Maybe the future will bring "self-driving" streets where humans are just not allowed to be the one driving.
I also think it will get a lot safer once there is some kind of standard and each self driving care is aware of all the others and their intentions.

it's shit and scary. I don't trust fully in technology.

I think if they improve the software the it could prevent many crashes. I would keep everyone safe on the road.
