Do you think self driving cars will be safer on the roads?

I certainly think overtime, as more data is logged, self driving vehicles will become safer on the road as based on data, the technology can be improved.

if all the cars in a road are self driving cars, Yes, 1 self driving car every 10 normals cars? nope, Humans are what make self driving cars dangerous, if there is only self driving cars, they will learn how to drive perfectly and there wont be any errors, the only issue we have is humans

As long as they're the only things on the roads, most definitely safer than any human-driven vehicle will ever be.

The only real challenges that would challenging for self driving cars would be purely ethical but it would be safer.

It will probably be a little safer but it will have it's flaws like everything else

I would argue pretty muchalready there. The only problem is that we still have people driving and it'll probably take decades until people decide that they no longer really want to drive any more. Once you no longer have humans behind wheel, there's a bunch of optimizations that can be made to roads to make the FAR safer.

in my opinion, it probably would be a lot safer. as a person with epilepsy and not being able to drive, myself, i feel as though it'd probably give a lot of people more independence.

how would it be safe it could have malfuctions and you would be done for couldnt trust it

I am more concerned that someone will hack my car and try to kill me.
