Hi everyone!

I was looking into buying the xiaomi redmi note 8, but I was told that chinese phones may have privacy issues.

I was thinking about buying the alcatel 3x 2019 to avoid this problem, although I dont know it it is as good...

So what do you think about this?

I mean, the phones are sketchy. And everything going on with the Coronavirus I wouldn't buy anything from there.

I personally wouldn't go for foreign tech especially right now

Dgmw there's some cool looking phones like the dual screen one's but I wouldn't say it's worth it at the current moment; I'd recommend one of the newer budget Samsungs like a note 10 lite or older iphone if you're into that.
Meow, it's purr-sonal!

a friend of mine bought an Iphone look-a-like for 100 $, he says that its a quite decent phone. He always buys chinese phones and never got any bad issues with it

If you dont trust it you can load a custom os, I would rather get an older iphone and samsung I trust though as it'd also be more convenient to do the repair work or claim warranty if anything happened to it.

I think so yes because there is a real danger the battery might be very bad. I had that with a Xaomi phone and only found out way later that it was actually extremely dangerous.. So don't risk it.
