Is my old laptop good for minecraft server hosting?

Its 8gb ram, 1.80ghz 2 core CPU, and integrated GPU. Is this good enough for around 50 players max? (Note: its a old pc, dont use it anymore) Or should I build a desktop for hosting

You might be able to get away with it. I used to host a server on my 2-year-old Alienware laptop and it would run great. Best bet is to buy a dedicated server.

It could work. The more threads the CPU has the faster it can process memory to the RAM or something like that.

A server needs a good cpu so nah i dont think so but its worth a try

Try it, i think you need to upgrade your laptop kiinda to be everything other perfect!

You should test run a server first

Its ok but you cant expect a super stable server
