Serious Hey all, Is Cracking a form of Hacking?

You are deliberately looking for an opportunity to activate a paid service, for example, without paying nicely for this service.

Without official permission from developer you are hacking, in any way whatsoever hash codes or something. No permission, deliberately studying the software maliciously activating a paid service without paying is hacking.

Unless of course you get paid, or get permission from the developer.

i dont believe so because cracking is just releasing the password when hacking is breaking into the account

Personally, I don't believe it is, I believe the definition of Hacking is to gain unlawful access to a system or computer, by creating passwords and gaining access I would not classify that as a hack, however perhaps if you were to bypass the log-in of a program somehow, and then gain access to it, i believe that may be hacking.

I'd say it was a form of hacking, for sure. Either way it's helped me get into the backend of a few websites in the past.
