What do you think of religions?

I am an atheist. Well, not really. I dont actually know. I dont believe in a god like Jesus or Buddha, but i do believe that there is something above us, above the universe.

What are your thoughts?

Don't really care about religions, however, I am interested in learning their founding principles and how they came to be.
I am more of a science person and put my whole "faith" in it.

At all times, since prehistoric times, religion has been an important part of the life of society. The church was often the only opportunity to get an education, to learn the traditions and culture of their people. The ministers of the church worked with the population from childhood, teaching people to observe the basic commandments of the Bible, the norms of morality in their daily lives. The presence of religion helped to preserve information about the life of the ancestors, to preserve the customs and traditions of the peoples of the planet.

The more time progresses, the more I genuinely believe that we live in some sort of simulation. As technology progresses, I think it seems more and more plausible that a civilisation centuries, if not million, years from now is able to simulate what we know as life. See it as a "The Sims 6542"

Its fine but the people doesnt have to force to believe

I'm an athiest, but I do sometimes get jealous that others believe in a God. Like, I just feel it would be a bit comforting to know someone is out there looking over you, yeah?

I'm atheist, and i don't really understand why some people feel the need to believe in such things, but i'm fine with it.
