What was the first Anime that you watched, that actually got you into anime for real?

for me it was probably detective Conan,

i mean we had some Free TV Animes which i loved like Dragon Ball,
but detective conan was the one, where i went into the internet to find new episodes,
after 333 there was no episodes dubbed into german, so i had to start watching them with subs

and so ive ended up into around 3months in total time watching animes ( should be alot more but the side im using isnt counting right anymore xD )

I mean the basics of my generation:
Card Captor Sakura, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, Dragon Ball, you name it
But i think Howl's Moving Castle was a film that got me into anime.

Fullmetal alchemist: Brotherhood and Deathnote

after that I discover ecchi tags

my first anime was nisekoi hhhhh a romance anime hhhhh but it was so funny i really like it

I saw assassination classroom cause it looked good so I started watch anime.

It was definately Falcouner DBZ. Schemmel will always be Goku for me, not the old lady.

The first anie that got me for real was Samurai X, that was the boom.

For me all start with Naruto. I've seen other before like DBZ ou sakura card captor but i started to have real interest on other manga and anime after seeing naruto.

my first anime? hard to tell, i was a kid in the 90', probably dragon ball

Tokyo Ghoul, got to love those tragic stories. If I had to recommend an anime for a first, probably Death Note, Psycho Pass or Attack on Titan.
