Custom NPCs is a great mod, try it you can do a lot of things with it.

Uh i think there's not a better mod than other, you play vanilla or a full modded experience to enjoy, not a single mod ,every mod has it's pros and it's cons

Chisel & Bits,
Recurrent Complex,
Divine RPG

there is a lot of mods I don't one to choose like car mods and modspacks.

just choose a best mod pack ex feed the beast good play

I used to looooove the mod Herblore, but they unfortunately do not make them for the current versions of Forge/Minecraft which is sad.

First, of WHICH not WITCH, Second The best Minecraft mod which I have played is RLCarft.

mekanism is the best tech mod. obsidian tools, atomic disassembler, etc. i used to love the mo' creatures mod as a kid, though
