It depends on the language IMO, certain languages like lua are easier than Java and Javascript

I think learning a language is one thing. Abstract logical thinking to implement problems in code, however, is the other thing.

Iit depends on your talent and your spirit and motivation to master it. Don't forget, practice makes perfect.

I would give myself 3/4 of a year or a full year. To master it I'd give myself 2 years and then it'll get easier after the 1st language is learned.

I second this aswell.

That's really difficult to say. By learning do you mean just writing and understanding code? If that's the case then at most 2 months of consistent practice. However, if you are talking about the ability of the program to identity and fix most bugs, then you are looking at a year.

It doesn't really matter what programming language you start with, as long as you find programming interesting. Of course, I would recommend not to learn very complicated languages until you learn the basics of programming, as they are mostly the same for most programming languages. I would recommend C++ to learn about programming logic, C# is a good option too. If you are more into web development, just go for the classic combo HTML+CSS and then Javascript to actually start programming.

I think it depends on the language.
For example lua is easy to learn and to use.
So i am not really sure about his topic.

Depends on the language and how.much you desire to learn. In the software development world, nothing is ever really done, just to a point of satisfaction and meeting a set of standard requirements within a certain budget.
