on the account that this post is over a year old ill still respond. Lots of factors can impact a websites loading speeds.Adding plugins on top of plugins can actually hurt your performance also. Hosting provider could have to much on one server and not enough resources or that provider is doing a terrible job at managing how much resources an account can use up. Lots of times your site can be perfect but another site on the server can be using up alll the resources and cause everything to slow on everyones end.

My suggestion would be switch to a better hosting provider since ( I assume your using the cheapest you can find or free) and move to someone who offers good reliability.

Deleting Caches is how you get faster web speed for chromebooks. Just make sure you dont have any important passwords or anything on your chromebook. I made that mistake and lost my spotify, hulu and napster accounts.

But this is only if you have a chromebook this may or may not work on regular labtops

your personal browser cache doesnt affect web server website speed. If OP wanted to speed up websites on his pc then sure if he wants to speed up his overall loading times on his website then its server/code related etc.

Thinking about what you said, I agree. I was thinking about how clearing Cache helps with website speed in reality.

well you were correct to just depends on what OP meant aswell. So if pages are loading slow on his pc it could be his internet his equipment etc.

If his website loads slow everywhere then its his configuration on his shared/server hosting. few different options to fix each.

1. Choose the right hosting provider (Very Important).
2. Choose performance oriented wordpress theme (Very Important).
3. Avoid using any page builder. Use native Gutenberg editor for building up pages.
4. Try to avoid using unnecessary plugins.

It is best to convert as images and / or icons to the smallest possible size, a tip is in Photoshop and export an image like "Export to WEB" so it will be super small

simple way, just activate cloudflare and if you are on wordpress install the cache plugin that can enable gzip as suggested in gtmetrix / tools.pingdom.com

Besides the tricks already posted in this topic, an other good way to increase the speed is to reduce the size of your images.
