Melatonin is the go-to for me. Knocks me out like a light.

drink Valerian pills before going to bed. Dont stick to your smartphone, put it away from your head while sleeping.

just do so much things that you can to be very tired at the end of the day

Apparently the optimal sleeping position is to lie on your back and straight. helps your back a lot. i'm sure it varies but i'd recommend you get a strong 8 hours sleep. if i don't get the minimum of 8 hours, i'm totally fucked for the day and i just feel like being lazy.

Try ASMR, works for some. Don't know until you give it a try.

Get some comfy blankets a comfy pillow and memory foam padding to be more comfortable usual then i can fall into a deep sleep

Listening to music can relax you sometimes, reading something before sleeping is good too, not using something bright like a cellphone also helps a lot, i use some sleep pills as i myself have some sleep issues

Alright here are my tips for getting better sleep. Firstly, dont look at any screens an hour before sleeping(dont look at your phone before going to sleep due to uv radiation). Secondly, drink some warm milk before sleeping.(The milk will soothe your mind)Lastly, light candles or incense because incense will help soothe your mind aswell.
