Defunding Police

I think that we should fund hte police more so they can protect us, i have baby and wnat to keep secure :D

Obviously it's not a matter of cancelling the police altogether but mainly a matter of controlling the police and the violence practised by the police. There's no reason for so many cops or cops carrying weapons everywhere they go. My humble opinion.

Defunding the police is idiotic. It's funny seeing people like Lebron call to defund the police as though it would actually make things better for the community. I wish somebody would ask him what would happen to the level of talent around him on the floor if the NBA cuts the salary cap.

I'm fine with reforming police but wanting to defund them is straight up ignorant and stupid.

People will always bicker and moan and complain about bad, aggressive cops in the USA. You wanna know what happens when you're a calm cop? Already prepared criminals will kill you or injure you bad enough to render you bedridden ! Cops have to be rough , especially in the modern landscape. Get real, the world is a mess. Defunding the people protecting us from abusers isn't the way to improvement ! Cracking down on police brutality in situations where it's not needed may seem comfortable but even that is hard to implement. Once a crack down on internal crime happens and less on external wars are waged, USA will be the monolithic country it was years ago.

Its an awful idea, and trying to pondering why anyone would want to defund the people that respond to murders and all the rest of the grotesque crimes, that idea causes my brain cells to float away.

i tihnk defund police main argument is using that money to give to education in crime or poor areas so they can make a living. Sounds very good idea, but some police is needed regardless.
